Dogs that eat healthy diets have less health problems and longer life spans

Contrary to popular belief a 50 lb bag of Ol' Roy costing about $20 has less

meat protein and more carbs than a 4 lb bag of Fromm costing the same $20 dollars.

The AAFCO (FDA for dog food) has to say they're both "nutritionally balanced".

One is loaded with cheap protein from corn, and extra carbs that make your dog fat.

The other one gets its protein from an "actual" meat source and has 30% fewer carbs.

It's easy to guess which of these two products is the healthiest for your dog.

Lets compare the first 4 ingredients:

Ol'Roy:  Corn, Meat and Bone Meal, Soybean Meal, Poultry By-Product Meal.

Fromm:  Duck, Chicken Meal, Chicken, Brown Rice

FYI...Meal is a overly cooked discard products not fit for human consumption.

FYI...By-Products are adulterated animal parts not fit for human consumption.

FYI...Corn least nutritional meat substitute and contains GMO, Lectin and Fungi.

What you really need to worry about...are those last ingredients:

The last ingredients on the label are the synthetic nutrients, chemicals and preservatives,

these elements are more harmful to your pet then any meal or by-product.

So why are all these chemicals and preservatives added to you dogs kibble?

It allows for storage with-out refrigeration and gives kibble a one year unopened self-life.

If you are really concerned about your companions health take a long hard look at

all the ingredients, if you can't pronounce them, don't feed them to your dog.
